Cross Trainner (cybex 750 a )?
So I was on the Cross Trainer beside this girl (about 30yrs old)… It seems she had the Level all the way up
So i tried it…. Boy that hurt….
Anyway usually i do level at 30 and resistance at 20 (for 30 min)
So my question is which do you think is better in the long run?: walking up big hard stairs …. and keeping you heart rate up…OR…. just keeping your heart rate up high
I burned 400 cal in 30 min…… AND she burned 411 cal in 34 min
Any reasons as to why one is better then the other?
I’ve read a couple of studies that say the cross trainer calories burnt are not as accurate as the treadmill and stationary bicycle. I think this is a marketing gimmick to sell more of their machines.
Another study showed that if you do 7 minutes of real hard exercise, I mean like wind sprints, pushing your limits for those seven minutes, you will get more out of that than a 30 min or even an hour of medocre ecercise.
