Batman/Ironman Crossover?
I know it would probably never happen but the movie world of Batman and those of the Marvel universe are so fluid and realistic that instead of seeing Batman and the likes of Superman or a Wonder Woman I’d rather see him team with a Marvel character. Sorry but DC has not been on top of their game in the movie world. Bats is the only one reppin Detective Comics and its to the point where adding Superman or anyone else would ruin his atmosphere. Maybe its the fact that marvel characters have a single creator that they compliment each other. Its obvious DC characters worlds have no room for one another. Batman should just join the avengers…screw justice league…unless the same director fixes it.
You don’t really have a question so not sure what to address. The Batman reboot has been extremely popular, that’s true. Try to remember how terrible it was with Clooney and Chris O’Donnell. It had almost become as cheesy at the 1960′s TV show. The recent films I think have blurred your overall view of the Batman. Even the Christopher Reeve Superman movies degraded so severely that by the time they got to Superman IV: The Quest for Peace the franchise had imploded and it took twenty years for a reboot.
Your view of the Marvel franchise does seem pretty accurate. There are several mistakes here too though. For example, Elektra and less severely Daredevil were panned by critics and viewers alike. I personally did not like Hulk (2003) and some of the Punisher efforts have been awful. Furthermore I think the Spider-Man franchise has hit the proverbial wall with installment 3 being a major downturn.
A Batman/Ironman crossover — while we know this is impossible since it is DC/Marvel theoretically speaking I like your thoughts here. They are two normal men who have transcended into that role of hero. While Batman’s origin may be a little more noble (avenging parent’s death), I could see where the two of them would work together.
