Proform 350 Treadmill
My Proform 350 treadmill’s belt has turned way to big. Is it possible to make it smaller?
I don’t want to buy a new belt for $80 so I was thinking if there’s a method on how the belt would reduce size?
It’s stretched so much that if i stand on it, the motor will keep spinning but the belt won’t move because the belt isn’t tight against the motor that’s spinning it.
That usually happens only if the plate under the belt on the walking side has not been cleaned and lubricated. Get a kit for that (spray lubricant can plus plastic applicator stick that goes under the belt and wipes off the accumulated dust) and follow the simple directions.
At this point what you have to do is adjust the end roller to take up the slack. Usually on the end of the treadmill platform there are two adjustment screws. Turn them so that the roller holds the belt in tension. Try going online for a website from Proform that will detail those adjustments.
