ProForm EKG Treadmill?
Has anyone ever created their own program/music disks for the ProForm 760EKG treadmill – specifically how to create the command signals that program the on-board computer?
I’d like to create my own program disks with my own background music with a training program specifically for myself.
In my whole career (about 30 Years of using an EKG threadmill I have witnessed many changes brought to the threadmillls.
Your idea is a brillant one and really deserves serious consideration .
Among many other parameters you should consider the
1. The high intensity level as when the heart rate reaches (220-age)x 80%. The low intensity being (220xage)x60%.
2.The background music can be made to have a synchronuos beat with the heart rate. That will help tremendously in many ways.
3.You can adjust the programme where you have varying intensity i.e. speed or/and slope angle at various time and for varying duration ….. just to keep stimulatinng the muscles.
4 etc. etc.
Go for it If you are’ computer programming’ inclined.
