Proform cross trainers have been one of the hottest selling brands in the United States and are quickly taking hold in the United Kingdom. Holding on to a solid reputation and a maker of a range of good value elliptical trainers it’s safe to say that the company has a solid reputation and they are in direct competition with such budget manufacturers as York, rather than Reebok (even though they are owned by the huge Icon Healthe and fitness empire who manufacture for Reebok as well as Nordic Track) or Tunturi.

- A good budget model is the Proform 330 elliptical will give you a good workout with its 8 different programs designed to work and sculpt different muscle groups. It features the Coolaire workout fan, oversized pedals, a large multi-window LCD display and an 18” stride.
- A really nice midrange Proform is the Perspective 1000. This elliptical gives you a lot more than sweat with your workout. It comes with a 7” flat screen TV, with speakers. The 20 preset Personal Trainer Workouts will automatically adjust the resistance of the elliptical to focus on aerobic, weight loss or performance goals. There are two heart rate control programs that guide you to the right exertion levels, back lit LCD and an 18” stride and 12 resistance levels.
- The patented Proform Spacesaver 650 T has been brought to another level. The new !-Step SpaceSaver technology allows the elliptical base and pedals to fold vertically in one simple step, saving your room at almost 3 feet of floor space. This machine has two cardio and resistance workouts so that you can get both impact and resistance at the same time. The 650T has 3 different setting that change the shape and resistance of your workout. The short setting sends resistance to your thighs, shaping them nicely, the middle setting delivers to your hips and core, slimming and defining them and the long setting focuses on your backside.
