Looking for best stationary bike models?

I tend to go about 20-23 mph for an hour or more in one session and of course, this constitutes some wear and tear. I need some input on models that are tough and durable that can withstand this. Right now I have a proform thing and it’s only 2 years old and already there are belts loose, it’s noisy (when new, these are virtually silent), it’s kind of unsturdy, and the pedal straps are busted up (it’s a paaain to replace those). Recumbent/Upright isn’t a factor, really; for price, I’d like to stay around $250 or less.

For the speeds and useage you are looking at getting out of the bike, i would say your best bet would be to buy a road bike and an indoor trainer.
This might cost a little more initially than a stationary bike but it will be much nicer to ride, it will last longer as all the parts are replaceable, it can be serviced at your local bike shop and you can use it outside!
Any stationary bike you buy for that price will be pretty much the same and they usually make the parts non-universal so you pay top dollar when they fall apart.
On a bike and indoor trainer the rear tire will wear a little faster so you might have to replace it every now and then but it is a cheap and easy process.
Check your local bike shop for more info, if you buy the bike and trainer at the same time you might be able to work out a good price. Bike shops are good like that.
