Why do only some blu ray discs play on my bluray?
I have a magnavox NB530MGX Blu ray player and just recently updated the firmware on the Bluray sucessfully. Now i just bought the Avatar movie on bluray and it does play but the screen goes in and out and zigzags the screen making it look like a bad channel youd get on antenna tv. however when i play my other Blurays such as Ironman they play perfectly fine. I have other blurays that do the same thing as the Avatar blu ray and also have others work besides ironman. suggestions on what to do?
it sounds like you have the wrong firmware , maybe the update they have isn’t the latest available ? or maybe you need hdmi ? does your tv and player support hdmi ? full hd ?
lots of people are having problems playing avatar on blu-ray — it could be because it’s a 3-D movie converted to 2-D and done wrong ? or that some movies require a tv with higher hertz – like 120hz and you have an older 50hz or 60hz tv .
