Weslo Cadence C42
I have a weslo cadence c42 treamill and everytime i go to use it it will bog down and stop running until i ?
step off of it and it will start running again. has anyone had this same problem? and how did you fix it.
The problem is either the motor or the controller and either one will cost more than the treadmill did if it is out of warranty (90 days). Running causes great stress on both things and they generally burn out. I’ve replaced dozens of them, if not hundreds, for people that are using the units beyond their capability. You shoulda bought the extended warranty…
Weslo treadmills are models that should be used primarily for walking- under 5mph- and not for running even though they usually have speeds up to 10mph. This being said, don’t get angry at the store that sold it to you. I am almost positive that the choice was yours and you chose to spend less rather than get a unit that was suited to your uses.
Next time, choose a product from Proform or better and spend at least $800. Even better, save $700 and get a good pair of running shoes to explore The Great Outdoors.
